Lupno — Sleep Better. Live Better.

Paul will be the first to admit he was not a good sleeper. He'd known this since his thirties, had various theories about why, had tried various things. None of it really stuck. By the time he hit his mid-forties he'd basically accepted it as part of who he was — one of those people who just doesn't sleep well. Fine. Move on.

Except it wasn't fine, actually. Four hours a night isn't fine. Falling asleep in front of the TV at eight and then being wide awake at two-thirty isn't fine. Functioning on caffeine and stubbornness for months at a stretch isn't fine. He just hadn't properly admitted that to himself yet.

The thing that changed it wasn't a single moment. It was more like gradually running out of excuses.

He started reading. Proper reading — not articles with titles like "ten tips for better sleep" but actual research, studies, books written by people who'd spent careers on this stuff. Matthew Walker. Work on thermoregulation. How athletes think about recovery versus how the rest of us do, which turns out to be completely differently. He got quite into it. More than quite, if he's being straight about it — his search history at the time was genuinely embarrassing.

The science made sense. What didn't make sense was how hard it was to actually act on any of it. The products that corresponded with what he was learning were scattered all over the place, overpriced, aimed at elite sport, or just nowhere near what the research actually suggested. He spent a lot of time being frustrated about this before it occurred to him to just do something about it.

He started small. Finding things, testing them, passing them on to people he knew who were dealing with similar problems. Some of it worked. Some didn't make the cut. Bit by bit a collection came together that he felt he could actually stand behind.

Lupno launched in 2024 out of Corby. Still small, still run by people who actually use the stuff.

The pitch is simple and we're not going to dress it up: products that help you sleep and recover better, chosen carefully, priced honestly. That's it. No miracle claims, no hard sell, no nonsense.
